Blue Spruce Inn
Rest and relax at the Blue Spruce Inn, a Pike's Peak Bed and Breakfast nestled at the foot of the mountain. Two and one-half acres provide plenty of space to wander or to find a quiet corner to just sit and listen to the sounds of Fountain Creek winding its way right through our backyard.
The location of our Colorado Inn provides many ways to experience the great outdoors. Enjoy the drive to Pikes Peak in spring, summer or fall. Cascade, Colorado and the surrounding areas offer a large selection of hiking trails that can be equally enjoyed at a casual pace or by the seasoned hiker. A fisherman's paradise is just up the road. If golfing is your game, numerous courses of various difficulties are just a short drive away. At the end of the day, a gourmet dinner and live entertainment are just 20 minutes away in downtown Colorado Springs. Be sure to include a day strolling through the many unique shops in Manitou Springs, featured in a recent issue of Sunset Magazine.
Of course, winter offers a completely different variety of activities. Enjoy the fireplace and whirlpool tub in our Cascade Room. Perhaps a day of ice skating at nearby Green Mountain Falls, then dinner by the fireside at one of the local restaurants accompanied by a fine Colorado wine.
Families also love lodging at the Blue Spruce Inn B&B. Our Whispering Pines Suite sleeps six and offers a full kitchen and living area with cable television and video games to keep the kids busy. Enjoy splashing in Fountain Creek or pretend to be an Indian living in our genuine teepee. How about steaks prepared on the barbecue followed by a family game of horseshoes. Then a relaxing soak in our outdoor hot tub - it is all available at the Blue Spruce Inn.
Looking for something out of the ordinary? The Blue Spruce Caboose is now available. An original Illinois Central Caboose converted into a romantic, private, luxury suite. Breakfast will be served right to your doorstep each morning. The caboose will include a sitting area, luxury soaking tub with separate shower and a fireplace in the bedroom. Your private deck will feature a two-person hot tub to enjoy under the stars by night as well as a place to lounge in the sun by day.
